Liberal Party of Canada: Unaccountable, Undemocratic, Unfit

Liberal Party demostrates again: they are not a credible alternative government. MPs voted 142-132 today in a confidence motion on the budget

Liberals MP still not back to work, miss vote

Perception:
“Our party will continue to develop the ideas, policies and concrete actions that should be brought forward by a responsible, caring and future-oriented government.”---( through publicity stunts and meeting outside the Parliament.) - Liberal Party of Canada Press Release

(   ) my opinion

Reality:
We accept the majority of Canadians do not vote for the Liberal Party, we have no interest in making substantial changes to repair our brand with Canadians. Janine Krieber may be correct about us joining other Liberal parties in Europe in the dustbin of history. We will continue to rely on our friends in the media, repeat the same questions in hope it might damage the reputation of the current government, weaken the democratic traditions  to improve our chances in regaining power. We will protect the special interest groups who we rely on for financial support and direction.

An election is not required at this time because we can't win one at this time, we will consider entering a coalition again if necessary.

Something the Liberals REFUSE to do:

The Role of the Opposition

In Canada, the party with the greatest number of elected representatives that is not the governing party becomes Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition.  This party takes the lead in holding the Government accountable for its policies and actions.  The leader of this party becomes the leader of the Official Opposition, sitting directly across from the Prime Minister.  The duty of the Official Opposition and other opposition parties is to “challenge” government policies and suggest improvements, and present an alternative to the current Government’s policy agenda.
Opposition members have various opportunities to influence the formulation of laws and policies, including the daily Question Period in the House of Commons.  The Opposition is allocated 20 “Opposition Days” or “Supply Days” each calendar year when it can propose a motion for debate and criticize the Government on issues of broad national policy.  Members of opposition parties also serve on parliamentary committees in both the Senate and the House of Commons.
In the Senate, the Opposition often plays a less partisan role.  The Leader of the Opposition in the Senate leads the Opposition in debate, coordinates its daily activities and confers with the Leader of the Government in the Senate on its business.  The Leader of the Opposition, like the Leader of the Government, is an ex officio member of all standing committees and helps coordinate party strategy.

UPDATE  TO  AMBER ALERT
We started with Justin Trudeau on our milk carton, who may have missed the budget vote today as ordered by the leader or whip of the Liberal Party.  Please contact us and let us know if Justin is allowed to return to work and do his job in Parliament including vote.

MI: Adult Conversation, No Plan until I am elected. Trust Me

Nowhere Man to sell The Plan: NO PLAN!

"He doesn't believe he can develop a plan to get us out of this mess, until you know what the real numbers are. That is where we are and there's no strategy beyond that."-Jill Fairbother

If true, that is a pathetic confession of incompetence.

51 per cent say they disapprove of the way Ignatieff is handling his job.

Mr. Ignatieff is paying the political cost of a disunited caucus and plunging poll numbers. He desperately needs to change a public perception that, fairly or not, portrays him as an ineffective leader who cannot even control his own MPs.

"Ignatieff has gone from a very positive approval rating when he assumed the leadership less than a year ago to a decisively negative one." -Frank Greaves President Ekos

(So will he listen and change his current position of defeating the government on every confidence motion?

NO!

Will the party split if he forces another no-confidence vote? The majority of Liberal MP's do NOT want another election.

YES!

"September's full-time increase of 92,000 -- the largest since May 2006 -- was partially offset by part-time losses of 61,000," the federal agency said. "Construction, manufacturing and educational services saw employment increases in September, while there were declines in transportation and warehousing." The current leadership believe holding townhalls and listening to voters will yield a different result? We don't want an election and we KNOW you are NOT the alternative we want to replace the current PM with a six week campaign. We want you to work together and cooperate in getting the work done. We don't want annual elections. We returned your party with the lowest POP in over 100 years less than one year ago.

We don't trust the Liberal Party do anything better. Fancy speeches and TV ads filmed in an enchanted forest won't cut it. You offer No Plan and want us to have an election because you don't like being out of power, no thanks.

The Polling reflects the anger towards the opposition parties who are trying to force another election.
