Elitists Don't Get Us: No Kidding

United States President Obama meets former Bri...
This is taking place in Europe, Canada and in the United States.  The experts are scared and don't know what to make of it. Smaller government, accountable, less wasteful spending is the global shift Liberals can't see. This is frightening for those dependent on the culture of entitlement. The Republican establishment were shocked again when their pick was rejected. Some in the Democrat Party are "faking joy" in Mike Castle being rejected. Democrats believe Delaware voters were mistaken in selecting Christine O'Donnell because of her views will make her unelectable in a general race.

Mr. Turcotte said Canadians also appear to be losing confidence in government ability’s to use social engineering to fix economic inequality in Canada.
Only 31 per cent of respondents felt government action is the best way to solve economic problems.
“They still believe we are our brothers’ keeper but unlike a couple of decades ago, they don’t think government can or should be the ones to reduce income inequality,” Mr. Turcotte said.
How many in the left freaked out from that poll? How many called it a fake skewed right wing ploy?

Tea Partyer Christine O'Donnell scored a stunning victory over establishment Republican Mike Castle. Stunning but pyrrhic. The very people who have most alerted the country to the perils of President Obama's social democratic agenda may have just made it impossible for Republicans to retake the Senate and definitively stop that agenda.  - Charles Krauthammer
I remember the same derision against Scott Brown when he ran for Senate in Massachusetts. How did that work out?
"The small elite don't get us. They call us wacky. They call us wing-nuts. We call us, 'We the people,'" she said to sustained applause. "We're loud, we're rowdy, we're passionate. … It isn't tame, but boy, it sure is good." -Christine O'Donnell
We are seeing this play out in Toronto with Liberals trying to adopt Rob Ford's tax cutting smaller government policies after Ford was propelled to a lead of ten points. Do these strategists think voters will ignore the record of the Democrat and Liberal endorsed candidates?

Will Toronto voters accept the spin from the media, experts behind Rossi and Smitherman? European, Delaware, Massachusetts voters ignored the spin from the media and experts and have sent in the fringe to clean up their government.
The unskeptical advocates for keeping the Long Gun Registry, Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming theory have repeated the same pattern and it is failing. They just don't get it. Some like to dismiss the backlash against Liberalism as "chubby chasers".
