Liberal MP Glen Pearson: You Don't Know Taxpayers

A little heavy on the rhetoric? This Conservative government has lasted for five years because each party rejected by the voters has taken turns in supporting the policies and agenda of this minority government.  Crying and complaining about the damage to the country and Parliament won't fly on the campaign trail.

Did the loss of the political party funding worth $ 7 million to the Liberals necessitate a failed coalition coup with Layton and Duceppe in the Economic Update in November 2008 six weeks after the general election? The worst showing in one hundred-fifty years by the Liberals. Did dumping Dion before the scheduled May leadership convention respect the democratic principles within the Liberal party? Bob Rae complained but admitted he could count. Liberals rejected Ignatieff in Montreal. The Liberal leader has the worst support within his own voting base according to every pollster. Nearly sixty per cent of people polled are for a full term before another election. Are Liberals too impatient, out of touch with issues beyond the Hill to recognize the public disdain for triggering an early election? It appears the Liberals are in it for themselves.

This is the longest serving minority in Canadian history. The Liberals have found many reasons to support and provide confidence of this minority government going on for five years. In 2006 the taxpayers rejected the Liberals and Paul Martin resigned. In 2008 the taxpayers again rejected the Dion led Liberals by rewarding the Conservative led minority and the NDP with more seats at the expense of the Liberal alternative.

Making parliament work or playing games?

Did the Liberals re-introduce abortion as a wedge issue during the Maternal health initiative proposal in order to help the taxpayers? This was a whipped Liberal motion, three Liberals stood up and voted against their party on the abortion stunt. Many Liberals skipped the whipped vote. Your whip was replaced shortly therafter. Ignatieff visited the CBC to apologize and admit he had a bad day at the office.
Glen we could discuss how the Liberals played games with the H1N1 crisis, the Olympic logo, attacks on Conservatives alleging a security breach at an airport. The loyal opposition is responsible to introduce alternatives to the policy decisions Parliament  they don't support. What did the Liberals introduce in parliament and win the support of  in the last five years and secure Royal Assent when they controlled the senate?

The contempt of the opposition parties to protect the political party subsidy and engineer a coup in November 2008 will now have the opportunity to be punished in a general election. You may call for taxpayers to ignore the track record for the last two years, the signatures and the antics by your party and other members within the coalition. The taxpayers will decide. I have the utmost confidence they will find the Liberals in contempt in London North Centre and in many ridings.

Susan Truppe has lived and worked in London for over 30 years. A former constituency assistant to a Conservative Member of Parliament, Susan is currently a successful business executive and a small business owner.

In spite of having a Liberal MP whining about damage to the country and Parliament what does the record show for the London area taxpayers? Here is a link to the Economic Action Plan Website.

High marks for economic stimulus

Aside from the helicopter deals, the report's findings in most other government departments probed were largely positive. On the subject of the roughly $61-billion economic stimulus plan, which the government unveiled in early 2009, adequate measures to speed the rollout of funds were taken, and adequate attention was paid to risk by implementing suitable controls, the report found.
"I think officials deserve congratulations for rolling out such a major program quickly, without resorting to throwing needed regulations and safeguards out the window," Fraser said in French at the news conference.

"Our government''s number one priority is growth in jobs," said Harper. "Kongsberg brings . . . knowledge intensive jobs on which the economy of the future will be built." Government welcomes Konsberg March 2010
The Government of Canada and the Province of Ontario today announced that the City of London is receiving more than $12.8 million for 73 projects to repair 5,062 existing social housing units through the Social Housing Renovation and Retrofit Program.- Social housing London

Prime Minister Stephen Harper today officially opened the new cargo terminal at London International Airport, which will create new jobs and provide lasting infrastructure for the region’s long-term growth.

“This new cargo terminal will help the City become a leading transportation hub, and will be critical to London’s future as a major North American and international gateway,” Prime Minister Harper said.  “This project is a perfect example of how a well-timed investment can create construction jobs in the short-term while providing lasting infrastructure for longer-term prosperity and growth.”  - London International Airport

I am looking forward to the voters in London Centre in selecting a Conservative candidate Susan Truppe to replace you as their MP, they can expect less rhetoric and more action on the issues that matter.

Goodluck Susan!

Liberals join Naughty List: Santa

Who said Santa does not have a sense of humour? Glen Pearson, a Liberal MP from London Ontario has decided to post  Santa Claus Joins Ranks Of The Homeless because we as Canadians are losing prestige in the eyes of the world.
Glen perhaps your circle of friends are no friends of Canada. Canada needs to diversify it's dependency on trade  with the United States. It needs to expand to Europe and Asia.  The non binding vote to ban tanker traffic in  the north coast of British Columbia  is just another political stunt. If the opposition MPs are unwilling to support this Conservative agenda of our PM, than simply demand your leader vote non-confidence, if you can find him. This government is a minority and your are responsible in voting for supply bills and withdrawing your confidence in this government. At least thirty Liberals MPs have been skipping votes to keep confidence. Look to your own leadership and their inability to repair the balance sheet, excite the voters to support the hidden agenda of the Liberal party.
  • Despots - Dictators don't like our position on Israel it cost us votes at the UN.
  • Being an honest broker means something more than uttering words.
  • A radical left wing American advocacy group that is silent on fastest growing and largest emitter (China)
  • A reckless NDP bill is defeated because Liberal senators can't count or show up to vote?

Canadians are losing respect for those leaders who look to the UN as a role model of accountability. Canadians are losing respect for those who refer to radical left wing groups for policy or direction. Canadians are fed up of the Liberal worldview that we must transfer billions of taxpayers dollars to the third world. The politics of fear and guilt are losing their effectiveness.

From Fantino to Ford to the New Brunswick sweep of the Liberal experiment, a change is coming. Pitting groups and regions against each other is coming to an end. Personal responsibility and liberty will be restored. Respect and tolerance of individuals will again become the standard. We are not collectivists or socialists.

$ 200k raised from charity event in Barrie August 2010
Here is a hint why the left wing pinkos on bicycles don't get it. and Don Cherry hits one out of the ball park. The market picks the winners and losers. The gravy train is ending and your  left wing advocacy groups are being defunded. Without an influx of tax dollars their ability to attack will diminish.
New York best sellers list for December 2010 is just a hint. If you drill down many more Conservative authors, ideas are on the list.
Canadian Santa Claus drawing from 1875"Santa is homeless" Conservatives to blame Liberal insight
Glen you better make sure your team has more than just hot air in those bicycle tires your rode into town with. because it takes ideas, money and voters to restore credibility of your message back from the scrap heap. From what I am reading on blogs and articles the pinkos are sounding demoralized and more desperate with every election result.

If hope Santa finds an alternative to coal for your stocking this Christmas. I read somewhere China has built new coal plants courtesy of five billion from the United Nations and we would not want to criticize the Chinese government for blocking the audits or emission reductions being demanded by our government. Any idea why those Green Peace-Human rights activists, opposition MP's keeping ignoring China for cheap shots at the Alberta oil sands? Is it just me?

Canada Loses Bid UN Seat: Liberals Happy?

The Left would support their UN seats?
The loss should cheer the Canadian Arab Federation, which argued that Canada didn’t deserve the seat, period. Why? It would lead to more imperial wars and Israeli aggression. Wow, little old us triggering Armageddon? How flattering. We really would have been the little UN non-permanent Security Council member that could!
CAF head Khaled Mouammar circulated an email titled “Don’t Give Canada a Security Council Seat.” The email contained an article by writer Murray Dobbin, originally published in The Tyee, a B.C.-focused news and opinion web magazine.  - Canadian Arab Federation casts its vote against Canada

Michael Ignatieff, Glen Pearson seem to share talking points with Murray Dobbin.
The truth is that it was other voices that likely turned that tide against Canada.  It was the 17 African ambassadors who descended on Parliament over a year ago, decrying Canada’s abandonment of Africa.  It was the voices of numerous other nations who expressed deep disappointment at this country’s lack of political leadership on the environmental file at the Copenhagen summit.  There were those voiced sentiments coming from various UN panels concerning Canada’s poor treatment of its own aboriginal people.  Recently, it was the steady stream of international development experts who bemoaned Canada’s lack of leadership in the international aid file at the Millennium Development Summit at the UN itself.  It was the appointed voices of the United Arab Emirates, who, rightly or wrongly, ordered the removal of Canada’s Camp Mirage from the region- Glen Pearson
Nothing unusual from my point of view by the left in Canada to turn a blind eye to the thugs and dictators that are given membership in the United Nations. A cheap shot against Canada and our Prime Minister is simply another day at the office.

Can Ignatieff become a future Prime Minister of Canada?

Glen Pearson, an MP from London and one of those present for the nightcap with Rae, said that in his opinion Ignatieff was losing the loyalty of the party and Rae was "the only one the party trusts." Carolyn Bennet, also present at the meeting, said that David McGuinty, Justin Trudeau and others are already planning their leadership runs and it was time for Rae to do something.

A senior party strategist noted that the Liberal advance team, seeking to highlight the government's alleged tardiness in spending stimulus money, had used the wrong field for an Ignatieff photo op last week, and that the park wasn't scheduled for construction until next year anyway. "In our rush to dump Stephane Dion, we have given ourselves John Turner," he sighed. Don Martin September 28, 2009
