Atlantic MPs silent on Quebec's bullying on Hydro Project?

Where are those Liberal NDP MPs?

Why are the Federal Liberals in the Atlantic provinces silent on the treatment by the Provincial Liberals in Quebec regarding the fight to help lift Nova Scotia and Newfoundland out from the thumb of the Hydra of Quebec?

Where did those Atlantic Accord Liberals go? I remember an MP who resigned and became an independent because he felt his region was not treated fairly. Do the MPs in the Atlantic region think Quebec is treating them fairly over this mega project?

Nova Scotia would receive 170 megawatts of energy a year — about 10 per cent of the province's total power needs — for 35 years. Emera would also have an option on an additional 330 megawatts that could go to other provinces and New England.Dunderdale said Muskrat Falls would create a 98 per cent carbon-free power grid in Newfoundland and Labrador.At least 2,700 people would work on the project at peak construction, she said. Are the Federal MPs in Nova Scotia or Newfoundland afraid to defend their provinces against the interests of Quebec retaining their near monopoly of hydro exports to the United States?

Are the Atlantic Liberal and NDP MP's silent on Lower Churchhill mega project?

Perhaps it is time to send active Federal MPs to Ottawa that will speak up and defend against the Liberal-PQ coalition in blocking energy independence for the Atlantic provinces.

Energy ministers from Newfoundland and Nova Scotia met Tuesday in Halifax where they agreed to intensify their lobbying efforts to convince Ottawa to participate in the project.

It is a shame Ignatieff did not have time to take a public position and help the Premiers in the Atlantic provinces with assurances of a loan that would create hundreds of jobs and provide renewable energy that will displace oil and coal in Canada and the United States.

Is bullying female Conservatives Rona Ambrose, Lisa Raitt, Leona Aglukkaq, and now Bev Oda a higher priority? Having your team refer to the PMO staff as terrorists? So much for the lack of civility and personal attacks instead of an adult conversation.

It is no wonder why none of the above score higher than Ignatieff for Best PM according to latest Nik Nanos Poll data. The Liberals are the lost generation.

Why is David Chen on trial? Look to the Liberal Government in Ontario. Look to the Liberal-NDP controlled city of Toronto. Who is responsible for over seeing the Police in Toronto?

Are Liberal Governments failing to protect Canadians from criminals?

Would anyone expect David Chen to be charged in Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Newfoundland for defending his liberty against a serial criminal? The criminal was given a lighter sentence of 30 days for testifying against David Chen. Does this make ANY sense?

The State and Police have become the problem.

The police and crown have failed to exercise the use of discretion in what I would call the application of community standards. Ontario needs to remove the political class in Ontario and Toronto for leaders who will restore confidence in the protection and Rule of Law.

Conservatives are putting forward legislation and money to protect Canadians against criminals. The opposition are blocking it.

Quebec Media Bias: Employment Success Kept Secret?

Does Gazette ignore good news in Quebec employment numbers?

Labour Force Survey Statistics Canada

In Quebec, employment was up 15,000 in September, pushing the unemployment rate down 0.5 percentage points to 7.7%. The number of workers in Quebec has risen by 122,000, or 3.2%, over the past year, the second highest growth rate at the national level after Newfoundland and Labrador.

Any reason why a Montreal paper would ignore the second highest rate of growth of jobs? Can't be a bias or an agenda to omit the great news for Quebec?

Newfoundland and Labrador posted employment gains of 4,900. This province has had the fastest rate of growth of all provinces over the past 12 months, at 5.3% (+11,000). At the same time, the unemployment rate has trended down, reaching 13.5% in September, the lowest rate since July 2008.

Media Bias for Negative Storyline
Does the media introduce a rift on the Atlantic Accord from 2006 in 2010 after the Premier has stated on many occasions water under the bridge during the visit of the PM on the destruction of Hurricane Igor?

There was little change in employment in September, as full-time gains were offset by part-time losses. The unemployment rate edged down 0.1 percentage points to 8.0%, as fewer people, particularly youth, participated in the labour market.

How did the media report the move from 8.0 to 8.1 in July-September? Historically the United States traditionally had lower unemployment rate than Canada. In 2006 a Government led by Stephen Harper has changed the dynamic. Canada had entered the global recession last and was the first developed economy to have exited. Does the media introduce the context how the Canadian dollar is not trading at a discount 30% or we are beating the Americans on the recovery?

Bottom feeding Press or Bias?
When the Keith Richards, Rolling Stones were arrested in 1977 did the media act like bottom feeders and go after the wife of the Prime Minister because she attended concerts or associated herself with the band?
