Canadians will have a clear choice when they return to the Polls in 2010-2011. They can continue to support the socialist economic policies of the Liberals, New Democrats and Bloc in fairer tax redistribution with the promise a "just society" economic model. (Utopia on earth)

The "king maker" Nick Clegg's (Leader Liberal Democrat) , Labor Party leader Gordon Brown policies were rejected as both parties lost seats and popular support. What is your fair share of "tax"?

It is time for governments to rethink a central authority, central planners are smarter or better at spending your money on priorities? Do we have an example of this "just society" on earth? If so why do the neo-liberals and proponents of wealth redistribution keep changing the labels they attach to socialism? Why shift from Global Ice Age, Catastrophic man-made global warming, to climate change?



Is anyone credible going to argue waste under any government does not occur? What makes a central planner in Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec City, Victoria more likely to understand how to spend your tax dollars, his education, his communication with political appointees and stake holders special interest groups lobbyists?

Are we going to ignore, deny we can buy the "correct data" we want through advocacy, polling, research if we ask the right questions or fund it? Look at the criticisms lodged against United Nations peer review studies, IPCC, Frank Graves, Manning Institute by opposing camps suggesting the "data" were bogus.

Canada's recovery is tied to the Global Economic Recovery. It can be stalled or worse if we don't deal with indebtedness of governments.

Standard & Poor’s, the rating agency that dropped a bombshell on the markets yesterday by downgrading Greek debt to ‘junk’ status and cutting Portugal’s credit rating, today downgraded Spain as well.

Quebec ranks only below Japan, Italy, Greece and Iceland in terms of public debt as a percentage of GDP. Quebec has been the economic model of a failed socialist state for too long. Quebec has been the largest welfare recipient of the Equalization Program. Quebec has debt levels equivalent to Greece and California has had failed to take the necessary steps in correcting the imbalance of fiscal responsibility. California has the largest state economy in the US, and it’s economy is larger than all but the top 7 to 10 sovereign nations — bigger than Greece.

Liberal Premier Jean Charest has used his majority to block, ignore calls for investigations of corruption in his government by opposition parties,  his majority allows the losses in the Pension Fund estimated in the billions to be ignored  NOT investigated by a public inquiry. Does the Liberal Premier benefit by pitting region against region, did he ignore the efforts by the Alberta Government to deal with Carbon Sequestration. Does he demand Albertans increase  their contributions for equalization programs?

Senior executives refused to apologize, however, even though the Caisse underperformed its industry peers – one study pegged average retirement fund losses in Canada at about minus-16 per cent.

Liberals Games Continue Flip Flop on Exporting Asbestos To Third World.

The NDP take a position and stick to it?  Some call them core values, others opportunism.



Pat Martin has been fighting for years on this file and I don't think it reeks of opportunism. The NDP do not have any seat to lose or gain in the ridings that would be affected by the decision to cut this line item or exports.

Liberal natural resources critic Geoff Regan said even with Liberal support, the motion would die because the Bloc won't support it. Besides, he said, even if the budget committee removed the line item, the government could put it back in, and call for a confidence vote on the budget, which could lead to an election, something Liberals clearly do not want right now.
"We don't want to play those games," Regan said.
Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff has made it clear that "he believes chrysotile asbestos poses serious health risks." He said Liberals would rather see the $250,000 go toward economic diversification in asbestos mining towns like Asbestos and Thetford Mines, and toward retraining asbestos miners for other jobs. The Liberals continue to play games in Ottawa, as they did on support for the HST, fearmongering on H1N1, Isotopes, anti-American sentiments , citing "brown skinned" Canadians have less protection now, Carbon Tax for Global Warming,  Employment Insurance in September 2009.

Michael Ignatieff citing "idealogy" and politics of division. What are they doing?

And that was exactly my point Jonathan. Michael Ignatieff only offered to support a Bill he doesn’t approve of, and not only support it, but fast-track it so that it won’t be an interfering influence when he decides to call his no-confidence motion in October. And by saying “interfering influence” I mean he’s trying to ensure that Jack Layton has no grounds to stand on when he votes to avoid an election.
He is aiming to make Jack Layton and the NDP look bad for supporting the government while having no reason to do so, and he want’s to have that ammunition to use against them. As such, he is trying to orchestrate a situation where he can have that. It has nothing to do with honestly supporting the Bill, because he already said he doesn’t.
To me, that’s game playing, and when the issue and time is as critical as it is, and being in the position of trying to call an unpopular election, Michael Ignatieff is either clearly insane, or out to punish the NDP. - Sean Calder

 The Liberals refuse to introduce any alternatives in parliament that might lead to an election.  Liberals did NOT follow their September declaration, in October, November, December. In March 4, 2010, 29 Liberal MP's refused to return to work and defeat the government.

The Liberals are back to playing games of dividing Canadians and demanding the government provide funding in the third world for Abortions. Is this the job and duty of a loyal opposition?

Long gone are the days of anyone believing the Liberal lies and scare tactics about the Conservatives seeking to outlaw abortion, so, now, desperate to try and find something to create relevance for the Liberal Party of Canada, Michael Ignatieff continues to make a fool of himself and betray the complete absense of any Liberal "plan" to try and play on his apparent belief that Canadians are truly stupid.

Squeeze Play : Bloc withdraw support for Bill 62 - HST Federal Liberals exposed

The "other" shoe has dropped on HST. Are the Bloc are going to withdraw support for Bill 62 to study the Bill because of compensation for Quebec has not been settled? They have also cited the use of closure motion is undermining democracy and the request to adopt a Bill they have not seen. Only 15 per cent of respondents support the establishment of the HST in Ontario, while 75 percent are opposed—including 57 per cent who
claim to be "strongly opposed."-Angus Poll Ontario.
Are the Bloc using the Polls along with the NDP to help break the whipped Liberal leader position?

What will the Ontario and British Columbia MP's do? How many were absent on the last vote?

So the federal Liberals have been forced to choose between endorsing a measure that the public does not like, or inciting the wrath of two Liberal premiers.

How does the NDP stand up and cite hardship for the taxpayers and than vote against every other motion to reduce taxes? How much will it cost to play the Carbon Credit game in Copehagen?
