MSM: Repeat Hockey Stick Effect

Liberals reach out to female voters with a little help from their friends in the media

The Liberals were working to recover key segments of the population that have deserted them in recent months – including women. The two leading parties are essentially tied in opinion polls, so winning back traditional Liberal support could swing a future election.- The Globe & Mail

In only three times in ten months a significant gap has been captured outside the M.O.E and the MSM has used  a small number of Polls to add the use of Polling Data to illustrate?

Additional examples of Media being selective in use of Polls to tell a story.

Without the media-the liberal are lost but hey they found new pals-the NDP, there tons of women in that party-I Think?
If that is not enough, well then, there are: Delacourt, Jane Taber, Van Dussen girl, Kady O'Malley, Mallick. My gosh, what happen here women and they don't want to jump into the bandwagon with the love-nest libs. Now why is that?

Now a serious woman will look at all areas for herself and for the safety of her family.
And from what I, a woman have seen, I will not want the opposition parties running the nation. they have proven to use my gender as an excuse to get my vote. no way. Also, I know that they support terrorist groups, the libs still owe us money and it is they that I am going to risk my family lives with. I don't think so.

Jen, the media is cherry picking dates trying to tell a story that does not really exist.

They have tried to make a case stating the media driven scandals in December-January have moved the polls.

Most parties have moved very little regarding female splits. I highlighted three periods where the MOE has moved for the Libs and CPC.

The problem some people have tried to read and make predictions on a small number of polls and ignoring other data that is as or more important.

The funding cuts for the activists groups was a good decision.

The Liberals have NO leg to stand on, as they spent years fighting in the courts Pay Equity and the CPC settled the matter at Billions compliments of the liberals.

In January 2009 the Liberals passed new pay equity legislation they opposed in 2008. For them it was only about the political pay subsidy as they rely on it for over 60% of their funding.
