America Votes: World is watching

The number of Americans who say things are going badly in the country, at 75 percent, is higher than it has been on the eve of any midterm election since the question was first asked in the mid-1970s, according to a new national poll by CNN here.

In less than 24 hours American Politics will be transformed again, the Democrats will likely hold or tie for control of the Senate.  Congress will give up Nancy Pelosi as speaker and their Democrat majority.

McCain-Palin ticket carried nearly half of the 100 seats up for grabs in this midterm election. The Republicans need 39 of them to convert to remove the Democratic majority held for four years.

American Thinker boils it down to R-E-S-P-E-C-T.   The voters are very unhappy with both parties in managing the affairs of the government. However it is the republican candidates that are set to benefit as the direction and policies were a result of the democratic incumbents. The Republicans will share a similar fate if they don't respect the voters in 2012.

The whining Utopian left has a very full schedule of despising Republicans and the idiots and scoundrels (a little over half the country) who keep voting for them. Yet it can always find time to attack its own team, cry and complain, and demand to be patted on the head. The left’s role in Tuesday’s elections should not go unacknowledged. Clive Crook

The independents will decide if registered democrats, republicans fail to show up in significant numbers to defend their candidate.

Anyone curious why Hilary Clinton sat this one out?
