Liberal, Labor Failing in Britain: Conservative Majority 2010?

Europe has shifted right from the socialists in the last decade. Germany's recent election greatly reduced the left and socialists. If the Conservatives achieve their polling support in the ballot box the socialists left of centre voters will have lost another government.

The poster, the idea of a Labour supporter, has Cameron's head superimposed on the Ashes To Ashes character with the caption: "Don't let him take Britain back to the 1980s."
But last night, even Labour supporters were conceding the poster may end up doing more good than harm to the Conservative cause, with Cameron now identified with one of the country's best-known TV characters.

The Tories quickly took advantage, with Cameron declaring himself "flattered" by the comparison. Meanwhile, the party produced a spoof version of the poster drawing on Hunt's catchphrase: "Fire up the Quattro. It's time for change."
The politically-incorrect fictional detective, played by Philip Glenister who appeared in both Ashes to Ashes and its forerunner Life on Mars, has become an iconic figure for millions of BBC viewers. Brutal and often corrupt, he has none the less been dubbed a "national hero" over his no-nonsense approach -Scotsman
The Conservative Party is heading for an overall majority in single figures at the general election, according to a poll released yesterday. The survey for the Sunday Express put David Cameron's party 11 points clear of Labour, restoring the sort of advantage Tories were enjoying until a New Year rally by Gordon Brown's party narrowed the gap. - Scotsman
Angus Reid Polling has a number of Polls capturing the leanings and moods on many issues in Britain here.

This is just another excuse to post a video to the Iron Lady. We could use more voices like hers at home in Canada.

Electing a full slate of Tories in the UK will make little difference.

In the first place the candidates they have to slate are as stupid as the Labour stooges and are more spineless by a long shot.

In the second.... they have NO leadership.

Britain is FINISHED.

There are a lot of media personalities in Britain with a vested interest in trying to keep Labour in office.

Gordon Brown's going to have his hands full fighting this upcoming election. Tony Blair seems to think he's going to help, but he'll probably only hurt the Labour cause.

All politicians have serious problems with delivering on their promises. A change with less Labor, Liberal MP's may shake up Britain.

Can you elaborate why Britain can't take the necessary decisions, why they are finished?

Is Germany going to bail them out too?

Winston Churchill is my favourite politician of all time. I did really like Tony Blair, but I do not like Gordon Brown. I still don't know enough about David Cameron to decide if I want to join his fan club.
